Integration Commitee, Nicolas Appert, Wageningen, NL                       (Aug'18-Currently)

“Unity in diversity is the credo of a good world”
Integracie strongly believes in the importance of integrating students with different nationalities and diverse backgrounds. A number of community-building activities around the year are organised for people who like to experience other cultures.
The primary goal is to make students participate in teams, motivate team building activities and hence, integrate a multicultural diverse group of individuals.

Education Committee, Nicolas Appert, Wageningen, NL                        (Aug'19-Currently)

Edutee monitors and maintains the quality of education in Food Technology at WUR through a multidisciplinary student team. Meeting and discussions are organised for the course evaluations and any other matters that have been raised by students or staff. The student members of the Program Committee are also a member of the Edutee and speak on behalf of the students during the programme committee meetings. Moreover, we organize the periodical evaluation activities, such as the evaluation lunches to understand and learn about the problems of students further.

International Project, ENACTUS,   Wageningen, NL                                      (Apr'19 - Dec'19)

Enactus Wageningen is part of a worldwide network of Enactus teams from 36 different countries that all work on one goal: to make a better world possible for all of us. The project focussed on community building based on social entrepreneurship for sustainable and healthy living by reducing plastic waste.

Public Relationship Committee,Nicolas Appert, Wageningen, NL            (Apr'19 - Aug'19)

PRcie attempts to connect with new partners while maintaining a close bond with the current partners. This ensures that NA has enough monetary resources to keep organising different events. We organise excursions, Q&A sessions for companies to show their faces to (>900) members!

 
President of AFST(I) V.V. Nagar Student’s Chapter for 2017                        (Jan'17 - Dec'18 )

President of AFST(I) student chapter for VVN Chapter in the affiliation of renowned state food institutes A.D. Patel Institute of Technology and Anand Agricultural University and central institute CFTRI. In the second year, 150 yearly members subscribed to the student body and the teamwork lead to 10 successful events. Furthermore, creating a community of over 700 members throughout India.

Key responsibilities and activities:
- Resource management and work allocation
- Collaborative decision making skills
- Goal setting, developmental planning and strategies
- Scheduling and coordinating state-level events and symposiums
- Team building activities and conflict resolution

 

Vice-President of AFST(I) V.V. Nagar Student’s Chapter for 2016                (Jan'16 - Dec'17)

AFST(I) student chapter for Vallabh Vidhyanagar in the affiliation of renowned state food institutes A.D. Patel Institute of Technology and Anand Agricultural University and central institute CFTRI. In the first year, 60+ members subscribed to the student body and organised 7 events.

Key responsibilities and activities:
- Team leadership and team building
- Organising delegations for public events
- Problem-solving and decision making
- Scheduling and coordinating state-level events and symposiums

 

Spectrum'17- A State level technical festival (Mar'17)

Worked in close coordination and communicating with the central university team, professors and students for the organisation of state-level tech-fest. Leading a department team while coping with pressure of about 40 students organising 7 events for more than 300 culturally diverse participants from different regions of India. 
Coordination for problem-solving, time management and communication link along with team building and team motivation sessions.

 

Food Technology Symposium Coordinator at GTU Techfest(Zonal)                          (Mar'16)

Leading a team of 5 member team for symposium organisation and management. Communicating with field experts for symposium, department professors and students throughout the state participating in symposium. Involvement of different tasks related to financial management, team building and planning

Development of interpersonal skills and curating meticulous time management and effective attention to detail.
